MAPA 2023

Apply to be part of #Mapa2023 until November 1.

MAPA invites local and regional art galleries to apply to participate in its fifth edition from March 9 to 12, 2023 in Pavilion 8 of La Rural in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The contemporary art fair brings together the current art scene to promote national and regional artistic production and strengthen commercial exchange.
New sections, programs and initiatives will be promoted in the 2023 edition to position, promote and professionalize the development of the participating galleries.

50 galleries will participate with individual curatorial proposals that will be selected by a Curatorial Committee formed by Irene Gelfman (Curator), Amalia Amoedo (Collector), Gabriel Bitterman (Quimera Gallery), Alejandro Dávila (Sasha. D Gallery), and Gabriela Gabelich (Gabelich Contemporary Gallery).

#MainSection

The Main Section of the fair will host galleries from all over Argentina and neighboring countries in the region.

#Planisphere

A section for international galleries curated by Mercedes López Moreyra.

Focused on Latin America, it looks for galleries that promote residence, curatorial and/or research projects for their artists. The goal is to transfer the value of each proposal to the ecosystem of the MAPA fair.

#RadarProgram

Through a collaborative spirit, MAPA invites companies and institutions to support and be part of the local and regional art scene through its #RadarProgram. MAPA seeks to generate alliances and partner with companies that have an interest to position their brand in a relevant art event.
For its 5th version we intend to add innovative proposals represented by leading brands interested in attracting and captivating collectors, architects, professionals, entrepreneurs, leaders, institutions, and an enthusiastic public.

#MapaNetwork

A round table where talks, training and meetings will be held between different actors in the visual arts sector to generate links and professionalize art galleries, managers, and artists.

Open call until November 1, 2022
